Northline Labs Epitalon Complaints: Refund and Shipping Guide

Northline Labs sells Epitalon as a “For Research Use Only” vial, and its Terms of Sale say all sales are final. Orders like this one can run into trouble in three places: a package lost or damaged in transit, a refund request, and the charge at checkout. Northline's shipping protection page describes refunds for some lost or damaged orders, so confirm in writing which rule covers your order before you pay.

What is Northline Labs selling as Epitalon?

Northline Labs describes its Epitalon as a 100 mg vial of lyophilized powder, a tetrapeptide “studied for telomere biology, cellular longevity research, and pineal gland function in preclinical models.” The product page says the powder is 99%+ pure, sealed against light and moisture, and needs no cold chain. The vial image on that page shows lot NL-22378 and the words “For Research Use Only.”

Northline's Terms of Sale say its products are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements or medical devices, and are not for human or veterinary consumption. You also confirm you are at least 21 and a qualified researcher when you buy.

The product page shows a 4.8 rating from 151 reviews, which it calls verified. Those reviews sit on Northline's own page, so read them as what the seller chooses to show.

Is Northline Labs legit, and how do I check a lot?

Northline says every lot is assayed for purity by an independent laboratory and that the certificate is published by lot number. You can check that claim yourself in three steps:

  1. Find the lot number on your vial or packing slip. The vial photo shows NL-22378.
  2. Search that lot on Northline's COA lookup page, which the site links from its menu.
  3. Compare the purity figure on the certificate with the 99%+ printed on the vial.

Northline's disclaimer says its products have not been evaluated by the FDA. You can reach the company at hello@northlinelabs.org, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm CT, and the contact page says it replies within one business day.

This page covers Northline only, so it does not rank other suppliers. If you are comparing research-use peptide sellers, see our research labs peptides review for how those sellers' research-use terms compare.

How much does Northline's Epitalon cost, and what does checkout add?

Prices as of October 28, 2026; check the checkout for today's.

Product Size Sale price Listed price
Epitalon, lyophilized powder 100 mg $79.19 $87.99

To check today's price or place an order, use the Product Page.

What else you pay at checkout:

  • Shipping: orders of $250 or more ship free by FedEx 2-Day.
  • Shipping protection: on by default, $2.15 on orders up to $100 and 3% of merchandise above $100. For a $79.19 vial, that is $2.15. You can switch it off in the cart or at checkout before you pay.
  • Tax and duties: you pay any applicable taxes and duties.
  • Timing: in-stock orders dispatch the same or next business day. The product page gives a 3 PM ET cutoff for same-day dispatch.

Payment is due at the time of purchase. Northline's terms say prices may change without notice. The text-message program is optional, consent is never a condition of purchase, and message and data rates may apply. Northline's privacy policy says it shares information only with service providers such as payment processors and shipping carriers, and where required by law.

What happens if my Epitalon order is lost or damaged?

Northline's shipping protection page says it is “Northline's own cover, added at checkout.” If a protected order is lost, marked delivered but never arrives, or arrives damaged, you file a claim, and the team replaces the item from stock or refunds you.

Protection covers these cases:

  • The package is lost and tracking has stopped moving.
  • The carrier marks it delivered, but it never reached your address.
  • The carrier delivers to the wrong address, and your order address was correct.
  • It arrives damaged, with photos of the vial and outer packaging.

It does not cover an order with protection switched off, an incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout, refused deliveries, access problems at the door, carrier delays where the package arrives undamaged, or questions about the product itself, which you send to email.

File within these windows:

  • Lost: once there has been no carrier scan for 7 days, and up to 30 days after the last scan.
  • Delivered, not received: from 5 days after the delivery scan, up to 30 days.
  • Damaged: up to 30 days after delivery. Photograph the vial and packaging before you throw anything away.

The page says that if you file too early, you can still file, and Northline opens the claim on the day it is due. To file, use “File a claim” in your order email or in My Account, or look up the order with its number and checkout email. Orders placed before October 7, 2026 were covered by Northline's previous protection provider. For one of those, email hello@northlinelabs.org and the team files the claim for you.

Without protection, Northline still makes right anything it got wrong, such as a wrong item, a missing item or a fulfilment error. A package the carrier loses, misdelivers or damages is not covered.

Can I get a refund or cancel my Northline order?

Northline's terms and FAQ say you cannot cancel or change an order once it is placed. The table below sets out the other rules, with the page each one comes from.

Situation What the seller's pages say Page
You want to cancel or change a placed order Cannot be cancelled or changed once placed Terms of Sale; FAQ
Wrong or missing item from Northline's side Made right whether or not the order was protected Shipping protection
Protected order lost, marked delivered, or damaged Re-shipped from stock, or refunded to your original payment method if you prefer Shipping protection
Unprotected order lost, misdelivered or damaged Not covered; all sales are final Shipping protection
Lot purity lower than its certificate Refund or replacement, if an independent lab tests the lot and finds the purity does not match the certificate Terms of Sale; FAQ
Any other return or change of mind Not accepted; all sales are final Terms of Sale; FAQ

Northline's pages disagree on refunds. The Terms of Sale say the company does not issue refunds, with the purity-match guarantee as the only exception. The shipping protection page says a protected lost or damaged order can be refunded. Email hello@northlinelabs.org before you order and ask which rule applies to a protected order, and keep the reply.

What does the research on epitalon show?

Most of the epitalon research is in animals and cell cultures. The FDA's briefing document for its July 2026 advisory committee describes three human studies and says most pharmacology studies were conducted by Dr. Khavinson's research group in Russia. FDA briefing document on epitalon is the primary source for what follows.

Study type What the FDA briefing describes
Rhesus monkeys Serum melatonin and cortisol were measured after epitalon.
Female mice over their lifetimes Chromosome aberrations and spontaneous tumor incidence were recorded. FDA says these studies “do not adequately inform the genotoxic or the carcinogenic potential of epitalon.”
Cultured human fetal cells Increased telomerase expression and activity, and longer telomeres, were reported.
Two human studies in night-shift workers Epitalon was given under the tongue. One measured circadian gene expression. The other studied 75 women aged 40 to 50. The 40 with lower urinary 6-sulfatoxymelatonin were split into placebo and peptide groups for 20 days, and the study measured urinary 6-sulfatoxymelatonin.
One human study in patients with an inherited retinal condition Epitalon was given near the eye, in 2002.

FDA found no human safety data. It wrote that “there are no clinical data to support the safety of epitalon (free base) or epitalon acetate when used in humans.” Searches of FDA's adverse event databases through December 2025 retrieved no reports, which FDA says cannot establish safety on its own. For how researchers study safety across peptides in general, see peptides safety evidence (our research library).

Are there side effects, and who should avoid it?

Northline's Terms of Sale say the product is not for human consumption, and the product page describes it only as a research compound. The seller therefore gives no side-effect information for people. The FDA briefing notes that the 2021 night-shift study did not report safety data.

Northline gives no guidance on who should or should not use it. If you take any medicine, show the vial label to a pharmacist first. Our guide to vitalpro supplement labels explains how to bring a product list to that conversation.

Is buying epitalon legal, and will it show on a drug test?

Epitalon is not approved by the FDA. In May 2026, FDA staff proposed not adding epitalon to the 503A bulks list, which is the list that governs which ingredients compounding pharmacies may use. The July 2026 committee vote is reported differently by different outlets, and FDA has not posted minutes. A committee vote is advice to FDA, not a rule. Johns Hopkins explains that How the FDA Regulates Peptides covers the difference between allowing a peptide to be sold and approving it: permission to sell “is not the same as a determination of their safety and effectiveness.”

Northline's own route is research-use-only sales, and you confirm you are a qualified researcher aged 21 or older. Check your state's rules or ask a local attorney before you buy.

If a sport or employer tests you, ask the testing body whether epitalon is on its list before you use it.

Before you order

  • Email hello@northlinelabs.org and ask, in writing, whether the shipping protection refund applies to your order.
  • Look up the lot on your vial in the COA lookup and compare the purity figure.
  • Check the total at checkout, including the $2.15 protection charge, which you can switch off there.
  • If a package arrives damaged, photograph the vial and outer packaging before you discard anything, and file within 30 days.
  • If you are tested for sport or work, ask the testing body about epitalon before use.
  • Ask a pharmacist to check any medicine you take against the vial label.
