Our editorial team evaluates dietary supplements by doing what most review sites skip: reading the actual research. We trace brand claims to published studies, compare label doses against clinically studied ranges, and assess whether a product's marketing aligns with its evidence base. When the science supports the claims, we say so. When it doesn't, we say that too.
How We Evaluate Supplements
Ingredient Evidence: Peer-reviewed research on each active compound — what it's studied for, at what doses, in what populations, and with what limitations.
Dosage Analysis: Whether the product provides ingredients at doses the research suggests are effective, or whether it's relying on label presence alone.
Claim Verification: Direct comparison between brand marketing language and what the cited (or uncited) evidence actually supports.
Formulation Logic: Whether the ingredient combination makes mechanistic sense or appears designed for label impressiveness rather than functional synergy.
Value Assessment: Cost per effective dose relative to alternatives in the same category.
Important Context
Dietary supplements are not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Our reviews analyze published research on individual ingredients — not clinical proof that any specific finished product produces specific outcomes. Individual results vary. If you are managing a health condition, consult your healthcare provider before starting any supplement.
Reviews by Category
Blood Sugar & Metabolic Wellness
One of the most sensitive supplement categories due to overlap with serious medical conditions. We distinguish carefully between general metabolic support and blood sugar treatment — supplements may complement lifestyle strategies but are not substitutes for clinical management of diabetes or prediabetes.
CardioGlyX Blood Balance Review
A botanical formula featuring berberine, white mulberry leaf, cinnamon bark, bitter melon, and chromium. We evaluate the research behind each ingredient for glucose metabolism and cardiovascular wellness — and note where the evidence is robust versus preliminary.
Glycopezil Review
A metabolic support supplement combining cinnamon bark extract, berberine, resveratrol, and Manuka honey. We analyze the evidence for each ingredient's role in glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity, and assess whether the overall formulation justifies its positioning.
Longevity & Proactive Health
AgelessRx Platform Review
A telehealth platform specializing in longevity medicine — offering physician-guided access to Rapamycin, Metformin, NAD+, GLP-1 therapies, and sermorelin. We evaluate the platform's clinical credibility, research backing, pricing model, and patient experience data.
Men's Health
Rugiet Health Platform Review
A telehealth men's wellness platform focused on ED treatment with compounded prescription formulations. We analyze the platform structure, medication options (Rugiet Ready, Rugiet Go Long), subscription model, and how it compares to single-ingredient alternatives.
